Assessment Results!
The following assessment results have been released by the Florida Department of Education and have been provided to Monroe County schools:
  • Grade 3 Lowest Quintile List (electronic)
  • Algebra EOC "Pass List" (electronic)
  • Grade 10 English Language Arts "Pass List" (electronic)
  • Civics EOC Results (Paper copies to schools)
  • Biology EOC Results (Paper copies to schools)
  • U.S. History EOC Results (Paper copies to schools)
  • Grade 5 FCAT Science 2.0 Results (Paper copies to schools)
  • Grade 8 FCAT Science 2.0 Results (Paper copies to schools)
These are the ONLY results that have been received. All other results for the grades 3 through 10 FSA English Language Arts test, grades 3 through 8 FSA Mathematics test, and FSA Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II End-of-course assessments are being held pending the results of the psychometric validity study required by the Florida legislature. The validity study is expected to be completed in early September. For more information you can contact your local school or this office.
Florida Standards Assessments Portal
The FSA Portal provides parents, teachers, and students a resource that provides useful information regarding the upcoming assessments aimed to measure Florida studentsí mastery of the new and more rigorous academic standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics. The portal includes training tests with sample items, test item specifications, and updates regarding the assessments.
What Students and Parents Need to Know

Florida students entering grade nine in 2013-2014 and beyond may choose from one of four options to earn a standard diploma.
  • 24-credit program
  • 18-credit, Academically Challenging Curriculum to Enhance Learning (ACCEL) option
  • An International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum
  • An Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) curriculum

The purpose of this document is to help parents and educators understand how FCAT 2.0 Reading and Mathematics scores will be reported in this year of transition from FCAT to FCAT 2.0.
